More than ever, Elon Musk is determined to set foot on Mars and colonize the distant planet. The impressive SpaceX program, which he revealed on his networks, has made all the apprentice astronauts dream, who already see themselves living millions of kilometers from Earth. A change of scenery that will make them see our world from aunique point of view, of which this NASA photo gives us a first glimpse!
NASA unveils a photo of our Earth taken from Mars
What was for decades just a science fiction fantasy is becoming more and more concrete. Mars, which is located some 62 million kilometers from our good old Earth, is considered the most accessible planet from ours in the Solar System, although we are talking about colossal distances. While Elon Musk's interstellar dreams make our arrival and colonization there increasingly realistic, NASA has just unveiled a photo of our world taken from the surface of Mars. Enough to get a taste of what humans may one day see with their own eyes from the inhospitable soil of this red, rocky and desert planet.

That's Phobos, one of Mars' two moons – and the tiny evening “star” to its right is Earth! It's the first time I've captured them together in a photo. #ObserveTheMoon pic.twitter.com/VBXSO15AC6

Several NASA rovers exploring Mars have made it possible to take a historic snapshot, itself composed of several photos. The view you see above is the result of adding 5 images taken during a short exposure to which were added 12 images captured during longer exposures.
An incredible mise en abyme, what do you think?
