Actress Karine Vanasse will begin filming a miniseries for Radio-Canada next Monday. Entitled After, this new TV fiction is directed by Louis Choquette and written by François Pagé.
According to the press release from the public broadcaster, After is “a human, social and collective drama, but above all a story that brings hope. A story of courage and resilience ”. The action takes place in a small community in the Laurentians, Lac Sabin, where the inhabitants will have to “learn to survive, to rebuild themselves, to relive, and even to try to understand the irreparable”.
Besides Karine Vanasse, we will find in the cast several talented performers, including David Boutin, Madeleine Péloquin, Anglesh Major, Kathleen Fortin, Steve Laplante, Marc Béland and Alexandre Goyette.
This new miniseries is produced by Duo Productions by Anne Boyer and Michel D’Astous (Yamaska, My son, The blue hour). It will consist of six one-hour episodes. The series will be available on ICI Tou. TV Extra, somewhere in the spring of 2021.
