Ukrainian troops advanced significantly near Kherson. Aleksey Arestovich, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, spoke about this in an interview with Mark Feigin. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine occupied Kiselevka and approached Kherson for 15 km. However, problems remain near Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. As Arestovich noted, the Russian forces are planning to close the ring around Zolote and Gorsky in this direction. The Russians deployed at least three battalion-tactical groups to the area. "The task is to close Zolotoe and Gorskoye into a tactical encirclement. And the threat of this closure is very real,” he explained.
