The Kovel City District Court sentenced the administrator of six Viber groups about the locations of the distribution of summonses in the Rivne and Volyn regions. Since the woman sincerely repented, cooperated with the investigation and is raising three children, instead of five years in prison, she was given a year of probation.
As stated in the verdict of January 13, from May to October 2024, Nadiya Andrushchak administered six Viber groups about the locations of the distribution of summonses in the Rivne and Volyn regions. One of the largest chat rooms had 13,679 subscribers, and the smallest – 38. According to the investigation, the accused systematically informed about the work of CCC employees in certain settlements of the two regions, thereby hindering mobilization.
Nadiya Andrushchak pleaded guilty and signed a corresponding agreement with the prosecutor. The court took into account as a mitigating circumstance the fact that the woman actively contributed to the disclosure of the crime, had no previous convictions, had a positive characteristic at the place of residence, and was also raising three minor children.
Judge Marina Gridiaeva found the woman from Volyn guilty of Part 1 of Art. 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations), but released her from the main sentence of five years in prison and imposed a one-year suspended sentence. The accused also confiscated her Redmi Note 4 phone. The decision can still be appealed in the court of appeal.
