Actresses continue to flee from Netflix's Sex Education

Sex education – one of Netflix's biggest hits, – continues to lose the main cast. Rakhi Thakrar, who played English teacher Emily Sands, announced her unwillingness to return to the 4th season of the show.

“I am not a participant in the new season. I can't talk about why”, – she told Daily Star Sunday, adding: “But I am very proud of the show and grateful to have been a part of something so important. There is nothing wrong with Sex Education.

Earlier, the ProShoKino editors reported that one of the main characters of the Sex Education series, Tanya Reynolds, who played Lily Eaglehart, was leaving the show after three years of filming and would not appear in the fourth season. Prior to this, Patricia Allison (Otis ex-girlfriend Ola Nieman) and Simone Ashley (one of the Untouchables, Otis' first client Olivia Hanan) announced their exit from the series. Details of the actresses' departure have not been released.

Sex Education premiered on Netflix in 2019. The show has been renewed for a fourth season in the fall of 2021, before the premiere of the third.
