The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism reported that, Colombian accommodation services must implement the < b>Accommodation Registration Card (TRA), so they can keep an inventory of the guests they receive.

According to the portfolio, the measure is required thanks to the provisions of article 22 of Law 2068 of 2020.

Accommodation service providers those who already have software for registering their visitors, will have until next Tuesday, November 24 to implement the Accommodation Registration Card.

In the case of providers thatThey still do not have software to keep track of their guests, they will have until February 24, 2023 to implement the TRA.

“For the implementation of the Accommodation Registration Card, providers of the service must have the active number of the National Tourism Registry (RNT) and have access to the email account reported in it”, explained the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arturo Bravo.

Next, the official recalled that the measure will be mandatory for all accommodation establishments. tourism, including tourist housing and other types of tourist accommodation.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Commerce also announced that, during the month of September, 39.5% of non-mining goods that were exported were destined for Latin American and Caribbean countries.

According to the latest analysis of the Office of Economic Studies of the Ministry, which was based on figures issued by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane), Colombia exported in the ninth month of this year US$722.9 million to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
