Information about this on September 20 was provided to the Kiev customs service. Recently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was informed about the decision to close the Novye Yarilovichi checkpoint in the Chernihiv region. The reason for the restriction was the risk of the spread of the coronavirus. Customs officials say that this is what contributed to the congestion observed at Vystupovichi. It is noted that the situation with the accumulation of transport there has significantly worsened over the past day.
In particular, there are at least 600 cars in the queue to enter Ukraine, while another 300 cars are awaiting departure. In order to resolve the situation, the leadership of the Kiev customs of the State Customs Service went to the checkpoint.
