Google security experts Xin Jin and Clement Lesijen discovered a zero-day vulnerability in Exynos processors that could be used by hackers.
Exynos 9820, 9825, 980 , 990, 850 and W920, in which the problem was detected, — Samsung's own products. A breach in platform security allowed remote code execution on Samsung smartphones. As noted by The Register, the discovered vulnerability is related to the management of the phone's memory.
