I thought, ”Why is he texting me this? I just broke up with him.”

Jenna explained that she decided not to follow him, but Mitchell wouldn't back down.

“He's been texting me for a week saying, 'Hey , do you want to hang out?”, she recalls.

I remember showing my friend, “He texted me again. Why does he keep contacting me? Why doesn't he understand that I broke up with him?”

She even said that one evening he showed up at her door with ice cream after she told him she wasn't feeling well.

Jenna admitted she was amazed at how “nice” he was, and a week later she realized , who misses him and wants to give him another chance.

They met and the first thing Jenna did was apologize to Mitchell for breaking up with him, and then she realized he didn't know anything.

I said, ” I'm so sorry that I broke up with you. I had time to think about it and you were so wonderful that I want us to be together again,” she shared.

“Then I found out the concussion was really bad, and he didn't remember us breaking up, so he thought we were still dating.”

Discussing the experience to People magazine, Jenna added: “He thought it was really funny and I was relieved. It made the process of getting back together easier because for him we were never broken up.”

Through five months he proposed, and in September 2020 they tied the knot.

“During the speech, my husband talked about how he doesn't remember the breakup, but he's very grateful, that it all worked out in the end,” she says.

They're both 27 now, and when people ask them about their love story, that's their favorite part of the story. They really felt the invisible strings that pulled them together all this time.
