The woman who on the afternoon of this Thursday, November 10, apparently decided to end her life by jumping from one of the highest floors of the renowned Intermédica building has not yet been identified., located in El Poblado, Medellín.

His body fell in the parking area, near the security railings. The first thing the authorities did was cover him with a white sheet; then, uniformed CTI and the Police carried out the technical inspection and lifting, to later take the body to the Forensic Medicine morgue. The causes that led the woman to make this fatal decision are a matter of investigation.

This case was presented just a few hours after a man, identified as Héctor Sánchez, 55, took his son, a 22-month-old baby, in his arms and jumped off the fifth floor of the residential complex in which he lived.

The neighbors realized it at approximately 7:40 in the morning and found them both alive, so they called the emergency services for assistance. Father and son were admitted to the Clinic of the Americas, in Envigado, but Sánchez died at 10:45 in the morning.

According to Captain Rogelio Londoño, commander of the Fire Department Sabaneta volunteers, “we found an adult male who was polytraumatized on the site. he The initial assessment was carried out and he was transferred in one of our ambulances to the clinic in the municipality of Envigado where it seems that he died minutes later ”.

According to Mariano Atehortúa, Secretary of Security and Justice of the municipality of Sabaneta, the baby suffered minor injuries after the blow: some bruises on his right leg and arm, as well as on his lip. However, he survived, is out of danger and was handed over to the care of his mother and nanny, while receiving outpatient follow-up from the Sabaneta Health Secretariat.

Apparently, the woman did it with the intention of ending the lives of both.

According to what was reported by the local media Ecos del Combeima, the woman would have tried to launch herself against several vehicles that could stop in time. Some people passing by realized what she was trying to do to her and tried to dissuade her, without success. However, around 9:30 at night, a car appeared that was traveling at considerable speed on the bypass. He did not have time to stop and rammed Heidy Lorena Toro and her little girl.

After being run over, Toro died instantly . Witnesses to the event noted that the girl was still alive and notified the relief agencies. Later, they took her to the San Juan de Dios Hospital, in the municipality of Honda, so that she could receive medical help. However, the minor died in the care center due to the seriousness of her injuries.
