A woman from Rivne sold boots and lost all her money

She was advised: «To get money for the goods – update the free classifieds application». And the girl listened.

A 56-year-old girl from the same class posted information about selling boots on the Internet. Soon a buyer appeared.

After that, a man called who introduced himself as a technical support employee of the free classifieds application. He reported that the payment was not being made to her card and asked her to update the application.

The woman followed the link sent and downloaded the «new application». However, when she opened it, the phone screen turned black.

The 56-year-old high school student rebooted her mobile phone, after which a notification about the withdrawal of funds came from online banking. Then the victim realized that she had become a victim of scammers.

Thus, she lost 86,027 hryvnias.
