A Ukrposhta branch and a military vehicle were set on fire for Russian money: a 41-year-old and a 15-year-old arsonist were detained in Kyiv

In Kyiv, two policemen were detained, who set fire to a military serviceman's car and a Ukrposhta branch for a promised reward from the Russian Federation.

The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office informs about this.

In December, a 41-year-old man from Kyiv received an offer via Telegram to earn $10,000 for setting fire to a military vehicle. While fulfilling the order, he found a Jeep Cherokee with the symbols of the ZSU on Demiivska Street, doused it with gasoline and set it on fire.

A 15-year-old teenager from Donetsk region acted according to a similar scheme. An unknown customer hired him through Telegram to set fire to the branch of Ukrposhta in Sviatoshyn district. The guy bought a flammable substance, poured it over the entrance door and the mat of the department, and then set it on fire.

Law enforcement officers detained both criminals. The adult was charged with obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces, the teenager with intentional damage to property. Both were taken into custody. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the capital SBU department.
