Ukrainian technology startup has created a new generation thermal imager to combat Shahed drones

Engineers of the Ukrainian company Compass Engineering have developed new thermal imaging equipment to combat enemy UAVs, in particular Shaheds. . The equipment has already been received by the defenders of the ranks of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

On July 5, the DPSU Facebook page showed a video with the new equipment, which is already on the armed mobile fire groups of the Air Defense Forces. Thanks to a special device, it is possible to detect the drones of the Russian occupiers at a considerable distance.

The thermal imaging lens installed between the machine guns serves as a sight that allows you to see objects at night on the screen and to conduct aimed fire on them. The defense forces equipped their shock weapons with a thermal imaging lens installed directly in the body of the pickup truck. During the air alert, the car promptly leaves for the area of the likely flight of the Shaheds. The DSPU expects that the effectiveness of the work of mobile fire groups will now be even higher. We should note that Compass Engineering has been developing and implementing innovative technological solutions for the Defense Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of a full-scale war. p>
