Ukrainian political prisoner Dmytro Shtyblikov does not have access to medicines in the Russian colony, despite the fact that he has health problems, including painful rashes and bleeding wounds on his face. This was reported by the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets.
"A former military expert, journalist is serving an illegal sentence in Russia based on a fabricated case and does not have access to the medicines he needs due to hypertension, dermatological and a number of other health problems. In addition, the husband was diagnosed with chronic varicose veins. He needs a full medical examination", says the message.
It is noted that the family of the political prisoner reported that Shtyblikov has developed painful rashes and bleeding wounds on the face of unknown origin.
"In addition, the political prisoner undergoes psychological torture in prison and is in a complete information vacuum: he has no access to radio or television, he has no they hand over books and do not allow them to see and call their relatives", – reported in the statement.
Lubinets reminded that Crimean Dmytro Shtyblikov together with two colleagues were detained in the occupied Sevastopol in November 2016, accusing him of preparing sabotage at military infrastructure facilities.
