The swindler tricked a child while buying mobile phone

A native of Mala Vysk was tried for fraud.

In June 2024, the accused decided to take possession of the mobile phone belonging to the minor victim.

Under the pretext of buying it, he stole a Samsung phone from the victim, the value of which, according to the expert's opinion, is 4414 hryvnias 65 kopecks.

Already at the court hearing, the accused fully admitted his guilt, and explained that he had no intention of taking possession of the phone, however, later, he agreed to the victim's offer to sell the phone. He received the phone from the victim and sold it for UAH 300. to a third party, but did not return the money to the victim.

The court decided to find him guilty and sentence him to 2 years of imprisonment. Considering that this is not the accused's first crime, the unserved part of the sentence was added to his term according to the sentence of the Oleksandrivsky district court.
