The Printemps de la musique will now be celebrated all year round. Created in 2016, this festival presented in heritage places in Old Quebec has just launched an online component with unprecedented musical performances, interviews and quizzes.
This annual event celebrates, in May, since 2016, concert music with jazz, classical, traditional and contemporary music.
The online platform will make it possible to discover artists, explore musical styles and visit heritage places that thrill the regional cultural scene through ten routes under different themes.
The OSQ, ès Trad, the Club musical de Québec, the Chœur Les Rhapsodes, Rafael Zaldivar, E27 Musique Nouvelle, Atopos, La Chamaille, Chamber music in Sainte-Pétronille, Tempêtes et passions and the Center de valorisation du patrimoine vivant have participated in the realization of these routes.
The exclusive musical performances were shot in heritage and unusual places in the great regions of Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches.
It will be possible, through the various screenings and quizzes, to accumulate points that will give access to special offers, discounts and exclusive experiences.
Every Thursday, at 7 p.m., between February 4 and April 8, multidisciplinary artist Nicolas Jobin, artistic director of the platform’s musical content, will share, live, filming anecdotes, provide information on the works performed. and answer questions from the audience.
It’s free and you have to register at Printempsdelamusique.ca/alannee.
