Ship in the Red Sea off the coast of Yemen , was damaged as a result of a missile strike.
A private security firm reported that, judging by radio signals, the ship took on water after the impact.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the strike, but suspicion immediately fell on the Yemeni Houthis, who carried out a number of attacks on ships in connection with the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, reports Associated Press.
According to the United Kingdom's Maritime Trade Organisation, the attack took place near the port city of Hodeidah in the southern Red Sea, near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
The organization said that the ship “received damage.”
