Ukrainian Catholic University started a scholarship fund named after Evgenia, Yaryna, Daria and Emilia Bazilevich, who died as a result of the Russian attack on Lviv on September 4.

About this was reported by the press service of UCU.

It is worth knowing: In Lviv, a memorial plaque to Iryna Farion was installed on the facade of the lyceum where she studied

This will be a permanent fund that will cover the cost of education for talented students who, due to difficult life circumstances, are unable to pay for their education.

I am asking for everyone's help in creating a permanent scholarship fund named Yevgenia, Yarina, Daria and Emilia Bazilevich, so that the world remembers their names, – wrote Yaroslav Bazilevich.

UCU noted that the establishment of a scholarship fund allows to preserve and perpetuate the memory of a person. The organizers of the fund plan to collect 100 thousand dollars. You can make a donation to the Bazilevich family fund at the link.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, UKU has established 10 scholarship funds in honor of military personnel – students and graduates of the university who died in the war.

Due to the creation of the scholarship fund, we strive to pass on to future generations the values and ideals that Yevgenia, Yaryna, Daria and Emilia Bazilevich professed. A permanent scholarship fund is also an educational moment for future generations, so that the victims of war are not forgotten. The memory of our fallen in this unjust war will live forever, – noted UCU vice-rector for development and communications Natalia Klymovska.
