A saudi-qatari-consortium ready to buy-up Liverpool?

Unity is strength. Since Liverpool was put up for sale by Fenway Sports Group, rumors have swirled about future buyers. On this one, it may not be just a simple speculation. Indeed, the Sporting News reports that a (private) Saudi-Qatari consortium would be highly motivated to take over the Reds.

An offer of 3.2 billion pounds sterling (3.7 billion euros) is being prepared. In order not to enter into a bidding war, the two Gulf States have decided to come together for this operation. Not sure for the moment that the English Federation accepts this deal, because Saudi Arabia has taken control and place at Newcastle United.
