In Nuremberg, Germany, customs officers detained a citizen of the Russian Federation, who is suspected of evading sanctions.

This is reported by “Evropeyska Pravda” with reference to&nbsp ;Tagesspiegel.

As explained by the prosecutor's office in Frankfurt am Main, the detainee is suspected of violating the Foreign Trade and Payments Act.

As it is claimed, within the international network, the Russian used his company, located in Germany, for the purchase of “sea goods” for Russia in violation of sanctions.

According to the representative of the Frankfurt prosecutor's office, this man is suspected of trading in satellite dishes and sonar devices for use in the depths of the sea.

According to the investigation, the suspect may have sold the sanctioned technology to Russia.

Investigators also searched a total of six properties in Nuremberg, Frankfurt am Main, Gross Umstadt in Hesse and at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport. A large amount of evidence was seized during the searches.
