A Russian agent who handed over about 20 locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the enemy was put on trial

The investigation into a resident of the Starobeshivskyi district of the Donetsk region who revealed to the Russians the locations of the bases of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including in the Pokrovske direction, has been completed. She will be tried.  This was announced by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, reports Livyi bereg.

On the fact of state treason, prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment to the court (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 

In 2023, during a trip to the temporarily occupied territory, the woman received a Russian passport and in August 2024 began to collect information about our military for an employee of the Russian FSB. 

The agent transmitted data about the Defense Forces units and artillery in Selydove via  Telegram, and also reported on checkpoints and the defense line. Reported on the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the surrounding settlements.

During the evacuation, she distributed data on such objects in Pokrovsk and Kirovohrad region. In total, she revealed about 20 locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 8 settlements. 

The accused is currently in custody.
