A resident of the Kherson region is suspected of “leaking” data about Ukrainian patriots to the occupiers

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 42-year-old resident of the village of Dnipryany was informed in absentia of suspicion of treason.

According to the investigation, the suspect, having pro-Russian views, cooperated with the occupation administration of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region. She gave the enemy information about Ukrainian law enforcement officers, military personnel, journalists and citizens with a pro-Ukrainian position.

The suspect gave the obtained data to the military commandant of Nova Kakhovka and the so-called “advisor to the head of the DNR”. Her «guidance» became a reason for illegal detentions and persecution of local residents. Thus, at least two local journalists were detained, whom the occupiers illegally imprisoned, interrogated and used physical violence against them.

In addition, the suspect took an active part in propaganda activities: she spread false information about the authorities of Ukraine, organized the bribing of residents to participate in pro-Russian events. She also starred in Russian propaganda videos and took care of organizing food for Russian soldiers at checkpoints.
