Unfortunately, this makes it a prime target for criminals. Nissan found this out recently when an R32 was stolen from the automaker's historic collection in Australia, writes Motor1.

A Nissan Australia representative confirmed to News.com.au that the rare sports car was stolen from the company's headquarters in Melbourne.

Unfortunately, our original R32 GT-R was stolen and is currently the subject of a police investigation,
a company representative said.

The vehicle in question is a dark red 1991 Skyline GT-R with registration number GTR 091 and registered in Victoria, Australia. It is fully equipped and was one of the first cars sold in the region. Nissan acquired it in 2015 and used it regularly for promotional events. It costs about US$170,000 (or AU$250,000).
