A quiet wind turbine for home exceeds solar panels: up to 32,000 kWh of energy per year

< img src = "/uploads/blogs/dc/1c/ib-ibn0cn3f_316240df.jpg" Alt = "quiet wind turbine for the house exceeds solar panels: up to 32 000 kWh for a year"/~ < P > Mett from Australia has developed an innovative chicken turbine ECO Whisper with a capacity of 20 kW, which is well suited for installation on homes due to low noise.

~ ~ < p > About this equipment & nbsp; told & nbsp; ecoportal.

< p >Wind turbines are often too noisy and cumbersome to use next to private homeowners, not in open fields. Mett promises an alternative in the form of a “virtually silent” 20-kilovate chicken turbine Eco Whisper, which can compete with solar modules. Most of the noise produced by small wind turbines occurs when the air breaks out of the tips of the blades, but thanks to the unique design of the ECO Whisper fever, as they say, works almost silently.

< P > As the manufacturer points out, at a height of 70 feet (21.3 m) and a diameter of 21 feet (6.4 m) ECowhisper can generate from 18,000 to 32,000 kWh of electricity. They are quite stable, because they withstand wind gusts up to 118 miles per hour (52.7 m/c). It is about twice as smaller than similar three -bladed turbines, and is also able to automatically adjust the position of the blades for maximum wind capture.

< P > Solar panels on the roof can generate about 20 kilowatts of electricity & mdash; This is enough to meet the needs of the average household. The problem is that they depend on sunlight, so they produce less energy in cloudy weather or cold seasons, and at night they are idle at night. Unlike solar installations, wind turbines work around the clock, so more reliable and stable.

< P > The Wind Turbine ECO Whisper has long been developed, but its implementation will depend greatly on local laws, wind availability and incentives by the state, since installation and initial costs are still important factors for homeowners. Another non -obvious advantage of the design is its excellent visibility, which reduces the risk of harming inattentive birds.
