Still from The Bridgertons

The novel will be based on future seasons of The Bridgertons and an upcoming spin- an offe about the youth of Queen Charlotte, which Netflix continues to work on. It is already known that India Ria Amarteifio (“Sexual Education”) will play the heroine in her youth. Young Agatha Danbury (Arsema Thomas) and Georg (Corey Milchrist) will also appear on the show. There will also be Princess Dowager Augusta (Michelle Fairley), George's mother.

Readers will be offered the story of how Charlotte married King George and how their love changed society. According to the plot of the Bridgerton series, it was thanks to the union of Charlotte and George in an alternative London of the Regency era that representatives of all races began to be considered full members of society.

Note that there is no Queen Charlotte in the books of the Bridgerton cycle – this is the original character of the show performed by Golda Rochevel, who was invented by the author Chris Van Dusen.

Recall that the shooting of the 3rd season of the Bridgerton series should start in the summer. The new series will be based on the fourth book in the Queen series, Where Love Rules. The focus will be on the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Cochlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
