An-26 plane, which had 41 people on board, made a “hard landing” in Yamal in western Siberia — actually broke into two parts.

According to the Russian propaganda RIA Novosti, the UTair airline plane landed two kilometers from the runway of the Utrenny airfield. From the published photos it is clear that the front part of the plane heavily damaged and broken off from the rest of the hull.

There were 5 crew members and 36 passengers on board at the time of the incident. According to preliminary data, three people were injured.

According to Baza, due to heavy fog and poor visibility, the pilots of the plane allegedly lowered the landing gear earlier , than necessary, therefore, they say, the plane hit the fence and fell.
