A number of services will be temporarily unavailable in the "Diya" application: what is the reason?

From today until 8:00 AM on Monday, January 20, a number of services will not work in the application and on the “Diya” portal. The reason is technical work to restore the DRACS and EDR registers.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine with reference to the press service of “Diya”.

“From today until 8:00 on Monday, services related to the DRACS and EDR registers will be unavailable in “Diya”. They are going on a technical break to return with good news,” the message says.

What will be closed by Monday:

  • act records;
  • private individual services;
  • employee booking;
  • birth certificates;
  • extract of child's place of residence.

The full list of services during a technical pause can be viewed on the portal “Diya”.

“Diya” does not store data, but only displays it from electronic registers and systems. Therefore, some services in “Diya” do not work during technical work. As soon as everything starts working normally, “Diya” will immediately announce it on social networks,” the press service added.

Cyberattack on state registers

Recall that in December last year, Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishina reported that state registers had been attacked. According to her, this attack caused the suspension of the Unified and State Registers, which are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice. According to her, Russian hackers are behind the attack. The time for the primary restoration of the registers will be approximately two weeks.

On January 10, all the main services of the portal were restored The US after a large-scale cyberattack by the Russian Federation.
