A newborn in the window of life. This is the second child left there in November this year.

Another child saved in the window of life.

As reported by the “Super Express” portal, a newborn was left in the Częstochowa Intervention Pro-Adoption Center „House of Life” named after S. Leonia Nastał. Right after the alarm sounded in the window of life, an ambulance and the police were called to the scene. This is the second little one that has been left in the Częstochowa Window of Life this month.

Another little one in the Częstochowa Window of Life

The child left in the Częstochowa Window of Life happened on Thursday, November 28. At 8:40 p.m., the Częstochowa police received a report about a child left in the Window of Life at the house of the Sisters Servants of Starowiejski. An ambulance also arrived at the scene.

Paramedics confirmed that the boy was safe and sound, and that his life was not in danger. This is the second time this month that a second sound has been heard in the Częstochowa Window of Life. It happened before on November 6th.

The Częstochowa window of life has been operating for 16 years

The window of life at the house of the Sisters Servants of the Old Village was opened in December 2008. During the 16 years of operation, eight children were found in the window. According to the portal “Częstochowa Nasze Miasto”, the first child was left in it on May 31, 2010. It was a 3-month-old boy.

In March, September and October 2013, boys were left in it immediately after birth. In 2021, two girls were left in the Częstochowa window of life. In one case, the parents reported to the police, withdrawing their decision to leave their child. In November of this year, two boys were left in the window of life.

The first window of life was opened in our country on March 19, 2006 in Krakow.
