A new leak of the specifications of the Google Pixel 8a smartphone has appeared on the Internet

The Google Pixel 8a is not a big secret at this stage – its launch is expected already in May. But where can we go without a new batch of leaks, this time talking about the design, price and features we can expect in the future representative of the mid-range price range.

Known insider Yogesh Brar on his page on Twitter published some of the most interesting features of the phone, as well as its expected price of $500 – $550. As for the specifications, the manufacturer, according to the leak, will equip the smartphone with a 6.1-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz (previously there were rumors about a peak brightness of 1400 nits), a Tensor G3 chip, as well as two flash memory configurations – 128 GB and 256 GB.

And what about the cameras? The insider claims that a dual camera module will be installed on the rear panel, which will include a primary 64MP sensor with optical image stabilization and another 13MP sensor. A 13 MP camera for selfies and video calls is expected on the front. The smartphone will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery and will support 27W charging.

These specifications are not far behind the Google Pixel 8, although it can be assumed that the new phone will be made of cheaper materials and will make certain compromises in order to keep the price lower. By the way, the basic Google Pixel 8 retails for $699, so maybe when the Pixel 8a comes out, it will be a serious competitor.
