A new hidden button was discovered in the new AirPods 4

At the Its Glowtime event held on Monday, Apple presented several updated devices, among which the headphones attracted considerable attention. AirPods 4 received a number of innovations, including a new model with active noise cancellation and AirPods Pro 2, which are now equipped with functions for healthy hearing and can be used as a hearing aid. However, in addition to the new features, Apple is also changing the design by abandoning the physical settings button on the charging case.

Seamless design: touch button instead of physical

Previously, Apple used a mechanical button on the back of the charging case to connect or reset. In the new AirPods 4 model, the company decided to replace the physical button with a touch button built into the case. Now the pairing and resetting process has become more intuitive and stylish, giving the headphones a more modern and elegant look.

According to Gear Patrol, the touch button is located on the front of the charging case. To start pairing, just open the case and double-tap its front. To reset the settings, you need to press and hold or triple tap the button.

The changes also affected the light indication on the charging case. In AirPods 4, the LED has become less noticeable and appears only when the case is opened or charged. This minimalist approach enhances the appearance of the device, making it more futuristic.

AirPods 4 models

AirPods 4 will be available in two versions: one with active noise cancellation (ANC). Orders for the new models are already open, and the official start of sales in the US is scheduled for September 20. Users can choose between the standard version and the model with ANC according to their preferences and needs.

AirPods 4 promises an improved user experience thanks to new features and an updated design focused on convenience and aesthetic appeal.
