A new feature has appeared in the WhatsApp messenger

WhatsApp will finally allow its users to add music to their statuses.

This feature has already passed beta testing and is being tested on a wider audience through the new beta version of WhatsApp for Android 2.25.2.5, which is available through the Google Play Beta Program.

The feature allows you to integrate music tracks into WhatsApp statuses. Users will be able to use the «Music» button in the status editor and choose a song from Meta's vast music library.

Users will now be able to find and add popular songs, favorite tracks or hits from famous artists to their photos or videos. Simply select a track, specify a 15-second fragment for the photo or set the desired length for the video. Those who view the status will be able to see the song title, artist and, if desired, go to the artist's Instagram profile via WhatsApp.

So far, the feature is only available to a limited number of beta testers, but the company plans to expand its access to a wider audience in the near future.
