A dental mouthpiece with a touchpad has been created to control the computer with the tongue and head

Augmental has developed and manufactures to order touchpads in the form of a dental mouthpiece, which can be used with the tongue and head movements. The device, the battery of which lasts for five hours, allows paralyzed people to use modern information technologies almost without restrictions, returning the ability to communicate, study and work.

MouthPad mouthpiece with a thickness of 0.7 mm contains a touch sensor that monitors position and movements tip of the tongue, as well as sensors for tracking head movements. The touchpad is so sensitive that it allows you to fully work with many programs up to a set of mathematical formulas, if it is necessary for learning.

The manufacturer makes MouthPad touchpads using 3D printing from certified dental materials, making them as inconspicuous as possible for users (individual design). The electronics, battery and touch panel are sealed securely to avoid contact with saliva and failure. The device works with gadgets and a computer via Bluetooth. From the outside, it is almost imperceptible that a person controls a computer using speech movements.

»We hope that a person with serious disabilities will be able to use a phone or tablet as competently as someone uses their hands.» , — are shared in the company. The device has already been received by many customers, from gamers to programmers and those who want to occupy themselves with something.
