A man will be tried in the Uman region for fraud of over 320 thousand hryvnias

Prosecutors have sent an indictment to the court against a 39-year-old resident of the Uman district, who is accused of fraud. This was reported by the press service of the Cherkasy regional prosecutor's office.

According to the investigation, the man defrauded 28 citizens and enterprises, offering to purchase spare parts for cars and agricultural machinery via the Internet. He demanded an advance payment, but after receiving the money, he stopped contacting them and did not fulfill the order. The total amount of damages is over 320 thousand hryvnias.

If proven guilty, the accused faces up to three years in prison.
