A man will be tried in the Kharkiv region for selling non-existent firewood and agricultural machinery

A resident of the city of Lozova, in the Kharkiv region, could face three years in prison for selling non-existent firewood and agricultural machinery online. 

A 40-year-old fraudster defrauded 14 people. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.

The defendant had been posting an advertisement for such a plan on the Internet since March 2023, with the requirement to pay in advance. After the payment was transferred to the bank card, he was no longer in touch. The material damage that the attacker caused in this way amounts to almost 130 thousand hryvnias. It is known that the accused had previously been prosecuted for crimes against property.
