A man who kept child pornography was tried in Ivano-Frankivsk

The Ivano-Frankivsk City Court found a native of the village of Krykhivtsi guilty of obtaining access to child pornography and storing it on a computer.

The Carpathian resident was sentenced to three years of probation for his actions.  This is mentioned in the court verdict.

During 2021-2024, the man uploaded dozens of photos and video files with child pornography. He stored the video on a stationary computer for personal viewing without the purpose of sale or distribution.

During the preparatory meeting, the Prykarpatts' man entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor. The court also took into account that the accused was not registered with a narcologist or psychiatrist.

Having examined all the case materials, the court found the man guilty of obtaining access to and storing child pornography. The Prykarpatts' man was sentenced to 3 years of probation with deprivation of the right during this period to engage in activities related to the education, upbringing and leisure of children and to hold positions related to working with persons under 18 years of age.
