A man leaked data about the work of the CCC online - what is the court's decision?

In Khmelnytskyi region, the administrator of the Viber channel informed about the CCC work and the distribution of summonses in the Polonskyi community. The court found him guilty and imposed a sentence.

This is stated in the court verdict published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.

Case details

In the verdict of the Polonskyi District Court of Khmelnytskyi region It is noted that on August 21, 2024, the accused joined a public Viber community in order to report on the activities of the CCC, in particular, the notification of conscripts in public places and the distribution of summonses. On the same day, he was appointed administrator of the community.

It is noted that the man was not only an administrator, but also involved other persons in this activity. In total, investigators recorded seven cases between September 21 and October 11 of this year, when the Viber community informed about the work of the CCC in Polonnoye and the community.

Court's decision

Having studied the case materials, the court found the man guilty and sentenced him to five years in prison, which was later replaced by a year of probation.

During the probation period, the man will be required to periodically register with the probation agency, as well as notify it of a change in place of residence, study or work.

The court also ruled to confiscate the mobile phone in favor of the state and to recover from the accused 4,775 hryvnias for  expenses for computer and technical expertise.
