A man found someone else's bank card and spent 35 thousand hryvnias with it

The Kamiansky police sent an indictment to the court against a 48-year-old man who squandered more than 35 thousand hryvnias from a local woman's bank account. This was reported by “Vidomo” with reference to the Main Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The police found out that the young woman had lost her bank card with contactless payment technology and did not report it to the bank. A local resident took advantage of the situation, who found the card on the street and simply took it for himself. After that, he gradually began to withdraw cash, because the card had a limit. Thus, he spent more than 35 thousand hryvnias.

The man was informed of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 185 and Part 1 of Article 357 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On November 26, investigators sent the indictment against the suspect to court.
