A 30-year-old man died following an armed attack on Friday in Montreal.

Police officers were called to intervene around 5:35 p.m. for a person injured on a bike path located near Savard Avenue and Boulevard Albert-Brosseau in the Montréal-Nord borough.

When they arrived, the police assisted the victim. She was stabbed at least once in the upper body during an altercation with an individual, according to initial information from the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM).
