A high-ranking Russian officer was killed near his place of work

In the village of Melenki near Moscow, a car of a high-ranking Russian GRU officer, deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces Training Center of the Russian Armed Forces, who fought against Ukraine, was shot at point-blank range.

This was reported by Russian media and Telegram channels.

The murdered 44-year-old Nikita Klenkov returned from the war in Ukraine just a week ago, the racist RBC reports.

As noted by the publication “Important Stories”, the murdered man served in the Special Operations Forces Training Center. He was killed less than 18 minutes away from this facility.

According to the Russian resource Baza, the killer fired eight bullets at Klenkov.

Law enforcement officials believe that the murder was contract killing and was planned in advance. The serviceman's car was expected, and his movements were possibly monitored, the Kremlin agency TASS writes.
