A heavy demining machine, partially manufactured in Ukraine, was tested at the training ground

Ukrainian company A3tech, within the scope of certification, tested a DOK-ING MV-10 heavy demining machine assembled and partially localized at the training ground in Ukraine.

After receiving the certificate, the manufacturing company will be able not only to establish serial production, but also to provide better service, since the necessary base for this will be in Ukraine, according to the message of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.< /p>

"Heavy demining machines significantly speed up the clearing of areas and increase the safety of personnel working in the field. They have proven their effectiveness in the Kharkiv region and in the south of Ukraine. Therefore, I can only welcome the fact that a domestic enterprise has begun to assemble MV-10 in Ukraine. Even now, 40% of the working body for these machines is made in Ukraine, and by the end of the year, they plan to increase this figure to 100%. This means that in case of damage during the blasting, it will be possible to quickly replace it, instead of waiting months for the necessary equipment to arrive from abroad.»,— said the First Vice-Premier & Minister — Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliya Svyridenko.

MV-10 has passed performance tests in conditions of compacted soil and on sand. The demining machine was also tested for its ability to clear an area of vegetation up to 2 m high and with a trunk diameter of more than 10 cm. During the survivability test, the MV-10 withstood five blasts under the working body equivalent to the TM-62M anti-tank mine.

Certification of the machine is carried out by specialists of the State Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Armaments and Military Equipment, which is the only institution that can certify this kind of products in accordance with international practice.

A3tech has a preliminary order for production eight MV-10 demining machines. In general, the production capacity can be up to 60 machines per year.

Now 17 DOK-ING MV-10 heavy demining machines are operating in Ukraine.
