A group of enemy informants was exposed in Vinnytsia region

Individuals who collected and disseminated information about the activities of the Armed Forces and other military formations were exposed in Vinnytsia region

This is reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Employees of the internal and own security unit of the Mogilev-Podilskyi border detachment of the State Border Guard Service of the “South” The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with the employees of the counterintelligence department for the protection of state interests in the field of information security and the investigative department of the State Border Guard Service in Vinnytsia region, exposed a group of individuals whose activities posed a threat to the national security of Ukraine.

It was established that two residents of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi community created a closed group in one of the social networks. In this community, which had almost 9 thousand participants, the organizers systematically published photos and videos about the activities of representatives of the State Border Guard Service and other military formations. In addition, they collected data on the locations of stationary and mobile checkpoints in the border region of Vinnytsia region.

During authorized searches, mobile phones and tablets used for illegal activities were seized from the persons involved in the criminal proceedings.

The group administrators were notified of suspicion of committing a crime under Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations”.
