A German drone was tested in Ukraine to combat "shaheeds" and reconnaissance UAVs

It is planned to be equipped with machine vision technology.

The team of the Ukrainian defense technology development cluster Brave1 announced the testing of a German drone capable of intercepting both reconnaissance drones and Shahed-type strike UAVs.

Representatives of Brave1 announced this on their page in Facebook.

During testing, Ukrainian operators checked the drone for compliance with modern technological challenges of war. Although the exact characteristics of the interceptor are not disclosed, it is known that the device can reach speeds of up to 300 km/h and cover a distance of up to 20 kilometers.

The manufacturer also plans to equip the drone with an automatic guidance system that will work based on machine vision technology.

Representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were present at the tests, who highly appreciated the drone's capabilities.

The Brave1 cluster noted that it is working to organize cooperation between the German manufacturer and Ukrainian developers.

“We continue to work towards building partnerships with international developers whose solutions and technologies can help Ukraine win this war,” – stated in Brave1.
