There was a gas explosion in a nine-story building in Poltava, three people were injured. This was reported by the regional Department of Emergency Situations.

A call about an emergency in a nine-story building on Kvitucha Street in the Institute microdistrict was received by 101 on August 6 at 12:00 p.m. :15.

At the scene  of the event, rescuers established that an explosion occurred in one of the apartments on the 3rd floor further destruction of structures.

Interfloor slabs between the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors, interior partitions in the apartment where the incident occurred were damaged.

3 people were injured as a result of the explosion , of which 2 were hospitalized. 

Emergency personnel rescued 7 people, 2 disabled persons were evacuated and handed over to emergency medical aid workers.

Poltavagaz workers arrived at the scene of the explosion. ;. A tent with food and hot drinks was set up for the residents of the building and the rescuers.
