A former military man who shared the movements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on TikTok was detained in Kropyvnytskyi

The Security Service of Ukraine reported suspicion to a former soldier from Kropyvnytskyi who published a video of the movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment on the social network TikTok.

This was reported by the SBU Department in Kirovohrad region on Facebook.

«The SBU Military Counterintelligence detained a former serviceman in Kropyvnytskyi who shared a video of the movement of military equipment through the front-line territory of Ukraine in the first year of the war on his social media pages», the report says.

According to the investigation, in order to «promote» his information resource on the TikTok social network, the defendant posted a video showing military equipment and servicemen. In just a few hours, this video was viewed by 220 thousand people. users that could be used by Russian troops to adjust strikes on the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Based on the evidence collected, investigators of the Security Service reported the man to suspicion under Part 1 of Article 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the sending, movement of weapons, armaments and ammunition through the territory of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
