False information is being spread on the Internet about the canonization by the Orthodox Church of Ukraine of Stepan Bandera, the head of the OUN-UPA Wire.
“Orthodox priests are scaring each other today,” Andrey Kuraev wrote.
Authors fake were too lazy to check the facts and correctly compose it in Ukrainian. First, Stepan Bandera was a Greek Catholic and cannot be canonized by the Orthodox Church. Secondly, not a single Bishops' Council held an OCU on June 20. Thirdly, in Ukrainian, the decision never “takes effect from today.”
