During the stabilization measures in the recently liberated territories of the Kharkiv region, SBU officers detained a 61-year-old local resident who was an accomplice of the Russian occupiers.

According to the Security Service, the detained man from the first days of the occupation, he provided housing for Russian soldiers and provided them with food.

In addition, he indicated to the invaders the houses of rich fellow villagers, helped to conduct searches of them, take away household appliances and cars . In  the abandoned houses, the defendant was engaged in looting.

The law enforcement officers found out that earlier the man was convicted of theft with penetration into housing      a crime under Part 1 of Article 111-2 (complicity with the aggressor state) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces from 10 to 12 years prison. Now the collaborator was imprisoned in SIZO.
