A 74-year-old British neurosurgeon weaves camouflage nets in Lviv

Henry Marsh, a leading British neurosurgeon and author of the bestseller “Stories of Life, Death and Neurosurgery”, published a photo of him weaving camouflage nets in Lviv. The man has been visiting Ukraine since the 90s of the last century.

In Lviv, British neurosurgeon Henry Marsh helped weave camouflage nets. He wrote about this on the X network (Twitter).

The Brit often publishes posts in support of Ukraine, calls for donations and visits Ukrainian cities.

Here I am at Festrepublic in Lviv, helping to make a camouflage net – my small contribution to the war effort. Glory to Ukraine! – wrote Marsh.

Later, the neurosurgeon admitted that he was not very good at weaving nets, so he will deal with brain operations. This is not the first time the man has helped Ukrainians. On April 3, he visited Kyiv and gave a lecture to medical students.

Well, I'm back in Kyiv and today I lectured 600+ very impressive medical students. It's quiet in Kyiv now, but at night it's a little hard not to listen to air raid sirens and explosions while trying to fall asleep, he wrote at the time.

Henry Marsh is Britain's leading neurosurgeon. He became the initiator of neurosurgical care for Ukraine, which has been ongoing for the past 30 years. Marsh also wrote such books as “Stories of Life, Death and Neurosurgery” and “Diary of a Neurosurgeon”.
