Passed information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a friend from the Russian army: police exposed a traitor from Kherson

Initially, the Kherson resident was detained for drug trafficking. However, it later turned out that he approves of Russian aggression against Ukraine

This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

A 55-year-old resident of Kherson was exposed. Last year, he was taken into custody for drug trafficking and weapons sales. However, during the investigation it turned out that he is also a fan of the “Russian world”.

During the searches, law enforcement officers found badges marked with the letter “z” on the man. They also discovered that the man had correspondence in the messenger with his friend, who participated in the armed aggression against Ukraine. Several times, the traitor passed on to an acquaintance data on the movement and possible location of the Ukrainian Armed Forces forces and equipment in Kherson.

“In particular, it is currently known that after the person involved sent one of his messages, the Russian military carried out a massive artillery shelling of the specified territory of the regional center for some time. As a result of the explosions, more than a dozen residential buildings of civilians were damaged,” the police said.

Now the man has been informed of suspicion of crimes against the national security of Ukraine. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
