A resident of Chernihiv passed on data about military facilities to the Russians

A resident of Chernihiv was detained, who was reported on suspicion of passing on data about military facilities in her city to the Russians.

This is reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the investigation, in October 2024, she began to cooperate with a representative of the Russian Federation via the Telegram messenger, agreeing to his offer to collect information about military facilities in Chernihiv. For a monetary reward, the woman recorded military targets using a special application. She transferred the materials to the curator via the same messenger, and received the funds to a crypto wallet. To complete the new task, the attacker planned to purchase a portable video camera to install near one of the military facilities. The camera was supposed to transmit data on the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in real time.
However, she was caught in time and detained until the next task was completed. She is currently in custody.
