How to speed up an Android smartphone with one button: iPhones don't have this

Owners of Android smartphones can significantly improve the speed of their devices without installing additional programs. It is enough to activate a hidden function in the phone settings.

To access the secret menu, you need to open “Settings”, go to the “About phone” section and click seven times on the “Build number” or “MIUI version”. After that, a new section ’will appear in the system settings “Developer Options”.

In this section, you should enable “Hardware Acceleration” (on some models — “Graphics Processing”). The function redirects the load from the central processor to the graphics processor, which improves the overall performance of the device.

Additional acceleration can be achieved by activating the options “Disable hardware overlay” and “Enable 4x MSAA”. The first helps to unload the processor, and the second improves the image quality in games. The interface speed will also increase after changing the settings “Window animation”, “Transition animation” and “Animation duration”. The default value of 1X can be reduced to 0.5X or turned off completely.

Important: Owners of budget smartphones with a weak processor or small amount of RAM should refrain from such changes. This may lead to faster battery drain.
